Review Stay away from Siteground


Hi all,

Siteground customer service is awful these days. Siteground has temporarily discontinued its chat/phone support, and tickets are the only way to get support now, even for critical downtime issues. Their sales support is instant, but their technical support is now reduced to tickets only. That is always a bad sign, in my experience.

Renewal pricing is going high. They charge without much warning to increase in price, and the way they market themselves is predatory. They do not make it clear how much the cost will jump.

  • Many hosts have great key founders who are great with support, and as there is growth, getting the same caliber is difficult. Let's not forget this is a 24/7 365 business where customers expect fast resolutions day and night.
