The system blocked a potential email loop



After updating to whmcs 8.4.1 the support tickets are creating problems. In the support center, it gives a message on the ticket page "Unimported Replies The following replies were blocked and are not visible in this ticket". In the admin area, the ticket Ticket Mail Import Log shows "The system blocked a potential email loop". The errors increased each time when the client replies to the ticket. it was working fine before updating whmcs.


Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

  • As I said in my thread the problem starts after updating to whmcs 8.4.1. We didn't get the support from the whmcs. To stop such errors we removed the pop3 settings so the email loop stops & the second solution is you can set the different email addresses for the support center. We used the same email address as the support email for the support center.
