can we set custom hostname in reseller hosting

Hello,

I have a WHM reseller account, and the default hostname is of the form server.myprovider.com. The problem is, my provider's hostname is not the white label, they use their main domain in hostname & when the user login into the cpanel via IP they redirect to there hostname which I find unprofessional.

Is it possible to set my own hostname, which is shown to my clients instead of my provider's hostname when they login in cPanel?

No, it is not possible in reseller hosting. You need root access to do this or buy a Whitelabel reseller hosting provider.

Not possible to mask hostname. If it is not white labeled maybe its time to move.
