Server reduce time

Hello,

I have one of the clients website on VPS, when scanning it in the seo tool getting this error

"reduce server response time"

What are the causes ? the VPS only have 4 wordpress websites.

Please check if you have sufficient resources to handle your traffic. Lack of resources may result in a longer server response time. Optimize website images & minify your CSS/Javascript. You can also use cache plugins as you said VPS has WordPress websites. if you are using Apache on VPS you may get better response time with Nginx or OpenLiteSpeed. Database slow queries also a reason for longer server response time.

Also, as an addition to DarioPag's post, you can try to use a subdomain with cloudflare to act as a CDN for your images/static resources.
